Voice

Voice over IP, or VoIP, is a set of technologies that allow people to use their normal telephone lines as a broadband connection. This means using the Internet as your telephone. It can be used for voice calls, video conferencing, and web browsing. These technologies were originally developed to replace traditional switching centers for small businesses with large numbers of phone users. The main advantages are low cost (no need for expensive phone equipment), high call quality for both parties, and high reliability.
